7pm: PEC Zwolle v Heerenveen – Both Teams To Score

If you like your stats, then you’ll love this one. In the last seven Dutch Eredivisie clashes between PEC Zwolle and Heerenveen at the IJsseldelta Stadion, the venue of tonight’s head-to-head, both teams have found the back of the net.

And to throw more emphasis on the strong likelihood of goals tonight, in the last six corresponding fixtures, there have been at least three goals scored with a total of five goals scored in the last two meetings between the sides at Zwolle’s home ground. So, it all bodes well for an exciting clash tonight.

Despite being seven points adrift of Heerenveen, Zwolle are marginal favourites to come out on top in this game and that’s surprising given that they’ve only won the once on home soil this season. Saying that, they’ve only been beaten three times while playing at home as well, with PSV & Feyenoord being two of those conquerors.

Their habit of drawing games has been their downfall, with 11 draws to their name in 23 matches, but they’ve only been involved in two scoreless draws so that suggests that they’re nearly always good for a goal. That’s backed up by the fact that they’ve scored in five of their previous six games too.

With nine draws to their name, Heerenveen have had a similar season to that of Zwolle but it’s been their performances against the bigger teams which have them in a slighter better position than tonight’s opponents. Their 3-0 win over fourth-placed Feyenoord last month showed what they are capable of and they have managed to score in nine of their 12 away games too.

However, they have only kept one clean sheet in those 12 away games and given that the trends for both sides are favouring a score draw, Both Teams To Score looks a near certainty.

7.30pm: Werder Bremen v Eintracht Frankfurt – Both Teams To Score

The sole Friday night clash in the Bundesliga sees fourth-place Eintracht Frankfurt travel north to Bremen in search of another win to keep their hopes alive of qualifying for next season’s Champions League. It’s been a fine season so far for Adi Hutter’s side, with just two defeats from 22 league games and that’s a record only matched by Wolfsburg, who sit just in front of Frankfurt in the table.

In the 24 games Frankfurt have played this season, in all competitions, they have scored in every game bar one and that was away to Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena. And they head into tonight’s clash with an impressive 2-1 win over the German champions last Saturday.

Friday 7.30pm: Werder Bremen v Eintracht Frankfurt
BT Sport 2

In their ten games in 2021 so far, they have averaged 2.5 goals per game and have found the net in every one of their games since that defeat to Bayern back in October, which covers 18 games in total. And having won this corresponding fixture 3-0 last season, it’s safe to say that they’ll be expecting a similar result tonight.

As for Werder Bremen, they’ll be very hopeful of finding the back of the net at the very least given that they’ve done so in nine of their 11 home games so far this season. Both teams scored when Bremen travelled to Frankfurt back in October and the home side also took a share of the spoils when they travelled to Bayern Munich in November too. So, they are capable of putting it up to the big teams in the Bundesliga and at the very least, they will be expected to find the net at some stage tonight with Both Teams to Score.

7.45pm: Charleroi v Genk – Both Teams To Score

The Belgian Division 1 action doesn’t get much of a look-in these days, compared to the bigger leagues, but it’s been producing plenty of drama this season and tonight’s sole clash is a match-up that traditionally produces plenty of goals, too. In eight of the last nine head-to-heads between Charleroi and Genk, both teams have scored and that was the case in their earlier meeting this season when Genk won 2-1.

Given that they’re sitting in third spot in the table, some eight places ahead of Charleroi, it’s no surprise that Genk are favourites to win tonight but they go into this game in poor form. They’ve lost their last three matches, conceding at least two goals in each of those games, and they haven’t won in any of their last five trips on the road either.

So, it’s hard to see them keeping a clean sheet but it’s also worth noting that they’re very likely to score judged on their overall form. In those three recent defeats, they have managed to find the net and only Club Bruges, who sit at the top of the table, have scored more goals than them this season.

Charleroi will be well aware of Genk’s problems at the back heading into this game and if they can return to their early season form, when they won their first six games on the trot, then they’ll be expected to come out on top. They went through the entire month of January without registering a single victory but a recent win against Kortrijk seems to have boosted their confidence and they head into this match having found the net in each of their last five games.

They’re likely to have plenty of scoring chances throughout the 90 minutes and with Mamadou Fall, who’s scored four goals in his last five starts, and former WBA striker Saido Berahino, who scored against Genk earlier in the season, it will be a surprise if Both Teams To Score doesn’t land in this one.

8pm: Levante v Athletic Bilbao – Both Teams To Score

Just two points separate these two sides heading into tonight’s La Liga clash at the Estadio Camilo Cano and having already faced each either twice this season, it’s probably safe to say that Levante and Athletic Bilbao know plenty about each other. Both teams scored when the sides played out a 1-1 draw in the Copa Del Rey earlier this month and that has been a common trend between the sides with seven of the last nine duels seeing both teams finding the net.

The betting suggests that this game is going to be close but while they’re outsiders to take the three points, Levante will fancy their chances. Their 2-0 win at Atletico Madrid last Saturday was their best result of the season by far, given that Diego Simeone’s side are top of the league, and heading into tonight’s match, they have lost just one of their last 13 games in all competitions, scoring in all bar one of them.

8pm: Levante v Athletic Bilbao
LaLigaTV and FreeSports

Athletico Bilbao were worthy winners when the sides met in the league back in October and they head into tonight’s clash having scored in every one of their games in 2021 so far, which accounts for a total of 13 matches in all competitions. They’ve been very consistent on the road as well, with wins against Real Madrid and Barcelona already on their CV in the last couple of months, and they will cause Levante plenty of headaches going forward, with midfield maestro Raul Garcia and in-form striker Alex Berenguer, in particular, the men to watch.

This is the first of two clashes between the sides in the space of the next week so expect plenty of fireworks and quite a few goals with Both Teams To Score.
