West Ham loanee Jesse Lingard is fact becoming a fan favourite - and one Hammers legend likes his branded clobber too

West Ham United legend Julian Dicks has been spotted in London’s East End rocking a light pink JLINGZ hoodie.

The 52-year-old affectionately nicknamed ‘The Terminator’ by Hammers fans said he was ‘showing some love’ for the clothing line’s creator and West Ham loanee Jesse Lingard.

At just 28 years of age, Lingard is regarded as one of the hottest young prospects in world football and has been sent to London by parent club Manchester United to gain some much-needed experience.

And Lingard has hit the ground moonwalking at West Ham scoring three goals in his first four games for the club.

His performances and delightful goal celebrations have endeared him to former Irons star Dicks who has shown his appreciation for the man dubbed ‘JLingz’ by wearing one of his signature hoodies.

‘These threads are sick man’, Dicks told Paddy Power News before sticking out his tongue and throwing Lingard’s trademark J-L hand gesture.

‘I’m showing some love for JLingz by rocking this merch’.

When asked why he chose the pink hoodie, Dicks snarled:

‘It’s f**king Salmon, you nobhead’.

In another show of support for West Ham’s new No11, former Hammers Neil Ruddock and Stuart Pearce uploaded a video to their joint TikTok account of the pair performing Lingard’s favoured ‘Milly Rock’ dance celebration.

‘We wanted to do a little homage to our main man JLingz’, Pearce explained to Paddy Power News.

‘Razor thought we should do the Whip, Nae, Nae and I suggested the Souja Boy Superman’.

‘In the end we settled on the Milly Rock’, added the 58-year-old while giving us another demonstration of the classic hip hop dance move.

In related news, it’s understood Lingard’s recent performances have caught the eye of Manchester United CEO Ed Woodward who is preparing a summer bid.

The 49-year-old is rumoured to be lining up an offer in the region of £120m much to the dismay of Jadon Sancho and Borussia Dortmund.
