Barcelona v PSG: Barcelona to win and BTTS

It’s going to be a great game. Barcelona had an inconsistent start to the season but they’ve improved in recent months. They’re unbeaten in their last 10 La Liga games and Messi is playing his best football of the season. He’s already got nine goals in this calendar year.

If you look at PSG, they got to the final last season. They’ve been indifferent this season, like Barcelona, and they lost two group stage games against Man United and RB Leipzig. Pochettino has come in since then and their form has been decent but it’s hard to know where PSG are on the European stage.

Neymar is out of this one so I think it’s going to be hard for them to get a result. I’m going for Barcelona to win and BTTS.

RB Leipzig v Liverpool: RB Leipzig to win

Liverpool are favourites going into this one but not a favourite I’d be happy to back. The aura of invincibility that we’ve come to know from Liverpool over the last few seasons is well and truly gone. They’ve suffered three defeats in a row now, which is understandable with the injuries they’ve had. When you’re in a rut like Liverpool are at the moment, it’s hard to get out.

Big games are coming thick and fast and they’re struggling to keep clean sheets. It’s one in their last ten games now. Leipzig are a serious team, they got to the semi-finals last year. They’re second in the Bundesliga behind Bayern Munich now too.

I think the value is definitely with Leipzig on Tuesday night. They should be able to take an advantage into the second leg at Anfield.

Double: Barcelona and Leipzig to Win

It’s the two ‘home’ teams to win. I fancy Barcelona and Leipzig for the victory in the first legs.
