19:00 Rotherham v Derby: Derby to win
Rotherham won the reverse fixture just three weeks ago, but Derby have rebounded excellently, winning three games on the spin without conceding a goal to jump five points above their opponents in the Championship table.
Having said that, The Rams have played two more games than Rotherham, so they are not out of the relegation battle by any means and simply have to get a result on Tuesday night to put more distance between themselves and the bottom three.
Meanwhile, Rotherham have been better away from home than they have been at the AESSEAL New York Stadium in recent weeks. The Millers have picked up just one point from their last three league games, while they have recorded impressive away wins at Derby and Middlesbrough in their last two away games.
Their last-gasp win over Derby in mid-January seemed to jolt Wayne Rooney’s team into action however, and Derby could strike a huge blow in the relegation battle on Tuesday.

19:00 Coventry v Nottingham Forest: Draw
Tuesday sees a meeting between two sides who have been plagued by too many draws, and who have been unable to escape the Championship relegation battle as a result. Coventry have drawn nine times in the league – only Stoke and Millwall have ended level more – while Forest have had one fewer stalemate than their opponents.
Chris Hughton’s side have taken a pragmatic approach in virtually every match they have played under the Irish manager, resulting in several low-scoring draws home and away – including four in their last seven league games.
Coventry, for their part, have drawn five of their 12 home games in the Championship and could easily make that six on Tuesday night. There was very little to separate the two sides when they met at the City Ground in November, with Lyle Taylor’s 97th minute penalty securing three points for Forest. It could be equally close again on Tuesday.
19:00 Bournemouth v Sheffield Wednesday: Bournemouth to win
Bournemouth’s form in 2021 has been truly shocking. The Cherries have lost their last three Championship games and failed to win any of their last four, as their automatic promotion push transforms into a battle to stay in the play-off places.
They simply have to win against a relegation-threatened Sheffield Wednesday side that has actually been in excellent form since the turn of the year. Wednesday have won three of their last four Championship games, taking 13 points from their last available 18. Although, their season has been heavily disrupted with postponements, so most of those results came at the end of December.
Nevertheless, Wednesday will easily avoid the drop if they can keep this form up; it’s just a question of whether they can or not. Previous history suggests that they won’t after they started the season well before suffering a wretched run of form. This is a huge opportunity for Bournemouth to get back on the horse following an utterly dreadful January and they simply must take it.
19:45 Kilmarnock v Celtic: Kilmarnock (+2)
Celtic’s title defence now surely ranks among the worst of all time following their shocking home defeat to St Mirren at the weekend. The result compounded a truly miserable January for Neil Lennon’s side, who have now picked up just six points from their last available 18.
They will surely hope to put things right against a Kilmarnock side that has won just two of their last 11 games, picking up just seven points in the process. Celtic are rightfully long odds-on to claim what is now an utterly pointless three points, but their recent form suggests that they will not set the world alight.
