Manchester City have kept 12 clean sheets in their last 15 league games all competitions. Looking closer, that’s four clean sheets in their last five league wins and the one goal they did concede in that time was an injury-time consolation goal against Chelsea. Quite simply they are in incredible form.
Meanwhile, poor Aston Villa had a phenomenal start to the season but their training ground was shut down because of a virus outbreak. They’ve had a couple of games postponed and they had to play the kids against Liverpool in the FA Cup. The training ground only opened back up on Sunday and a large portion of their first team squad have been self-isolating so who knows what shape they are going to be in coming into this game.

I think they can be forgiven for treating this game as a warm-up for bigger matches ahead. They play Newcastle and Burnley after Man City, which are two more winnable games.
Dean Smith has done a fantastic job there this season but I don’t think – with the preparation they’ve had and the fact they will potentially still be missing some starters for this game – that Villa can be too expectant of getting anything.
I think Man City can keep another clean sheet and Win to Nil.
Manchester United are still top of the league after their draw at Anfield and they’ve got a nice fixture to come here away from home, where they have been getting most of their points this season. They’re playing Fulham, who have just one home win all season which was against West Brom. The Cottagers have been struggling for goals this season as well with just three goals scored in their last seven league games. And on top of that they’ll be missing Antonee Robinson, who’s been one of their stand-out players this season, after his red card against Chelsea.
Wednesday, 8.15pm: Fulham v Manchester United BT Sport 1/BT Sport Ultimate
For United, they’ve been winning away games against teams in the bottom half of the table all season. I’m going to go with Bruno Fernandes to Score and Man Utd to Win. The Portuguese midfielder hasn’t scored in his last couple of games but he can score from open play, as well as from the penalty spot, so he’s still a threat.
