6.00pm: West Ham v West Brom

West Ham to Win 1-0 or 2-0

West Brom got a much-needed win at the weekend, and did show good character after going in front, and then behind and then retaking the lead, but their goals came from two penalties and a long throw-in – and they were playing a Wolves team really struggling without Raul Jimenez.

Before that they were knocked out the FA Cup by Blackpool and had been well beaten by Arsenal and Leeds 4-0 and 5-0 respectively in their previous league games.

Tuesday, 6.00pm: West Ham United v West Bromwich Albion
BT Sport 1/BT Sport Ultimate

I don’t think the Baggies are going to build off their most recent result because West Ham are flying at the moment. They’ve only lost two of their home games this season, while they got an early goal against Burnley at the weekend and were able to hold onto that lead until the final whistle.

They’ve tightened up at the back – four clean sheets in their last four games – but I think they’ve suffered a bit going forward as a result of that. They’ve only scored three goals in that four game spell but most importantly, they are getting the results and I can see this being a 1-0 or 2-0 win for West Ham. We’re getting that boosted in the Power Prices of the match, so West Ham to win 1-0 or 2-0.

Michail Antonio Anytime Goalscorer

Michail Antonio has had injury problems, making just a handful of appearances this season. He tends to be a ‘confidence player’, scoring goals in a couple of games before a run of matches without a goal. His strike against Burnley at the weekend would’ve done him the world of good and he represents good value. Looking at Antonio’s Expected Goals metrics from last season, he was averaging two expected goals every three games last season, so he has no problem getting himself into the right positions. Anything odds against represents good value.

8.15pm: Leicester v Chelsea

HT/FT: Draw/Leicester

Chelsea are favourites for this one, despite being on a poor run in the Premier League. They did get a win against Fulham at the weekend, but it was the narrowest of wins – only 1-0 and Fulham were a man down for over half of the game as well.

Chelsea really struggled to fashion many clear-cut chances, and before that game had lost their previous three away games in the league. Four of the last six top-flight meetings between these sides has ended in a draw, and the other two were decided by a single goal, so it’s going to be very close and I won’t be backing Chelsea to win this one at the prices.

Tuesday, 8.15pm: Leicester City v Chelsea
Sky Sports Main Event/Sky Sports Premier League

Leicester have been playing better away from home this season, but they did put in a really good display in their home win over Southampton at the weekend. That 2-0 victory could have been larger with Jamie Vardy missing a couple of chances and Harvey Barnes also going close.

I think Leicester are a backable price, but I’m going to go one further at a tasty price and go with HT/FT: Draw/Leicester. This has clicked for Leicester more than any team in the league this season. coming in six times from their 18 games. We’ll get that price boosted too.

Jamie Vardy Brendan Rodgers Leicester

Harvey Barnes Anytime Goalscorer

If you’re looking for a value pick on an Anytime Goalscorer, Barnes would be a bigger price than Vardy and he did score at the weekend. Vardy has gone a couple of games without a goal so Barnes would be the one for me.
