Chelsea may have claimed a first Premier League win in four games at Craven Cottage on Sunday, but it was hardly a convincing performance.
Frank Lampard’s side toiled against a relegation-threatened Fulham side playing with 10 men for more than 45 minutes and Leicester are unlikely to fear them on Tuesday night. Chelsea may even have lost Saturday night’s game had Ivan Cavaleiro not passed up two glorious chances in either half.

Leicester, on the other hand, looked back to their best in a well-deserved 2-0 win over Southampton. In truth, Brendan Rodgers’ could have won even more comfortably and look to be building up a head of steam.
The Foxes have picked up 11 points from their last five games, while Chelsea have picked up just two wins in their last seven league games.
Lampard’s job may be cast into further doubt by 10pm on Tuesday.

Leicester have naturally relied heavily on Jamie Vardy’s goals this season, but the 34-year-old has struggled to find the back of the net in recent weeks. Vardy has failed to score in each of his last four league games and the goalscoring burden has instead fallen to Harvey Barnes and James Maddison.
Barnes has already equalled his best-ever goal return in the Premier League after just 17 games, scoring three in his last four league matches. He has scored four in his last five in all competitions and has really stepped up to the plate in the absence of Vardy’s goals.
He will get chances against a vulnerable Chelsea defence that offers opportunities to every team it plays against and could extend his fine goalscoring run
Despite being separated by six points in the league table, Chelsea and Leicester actually boast identical defensive and goalscoring records, both scoring 33 and conceding 21 after 18 games. The two sides are more than capable of finding the back of the net but haven’t exactly been watertight at the other end.
Leicester have only failed to score in one of their last nine league games, while Chelsea have drawn a blank in just one of their last eight games in spite of their wretched form.
Leicester, however, have kept just two clean sheets in six league games, while Chelsea have managed just two clean sheets in their last eight. The Foxes may have to score twice if they are to put even more points between them and Chelsea.
Leicester have saved their best form for after the interval in the Premier League this season, scoring 21 of their 33 goals in the second period.
Rodgers’ side have scored after the break in each of their last five league games and seem to just wear their opponents down. Of their 33 goals this season, 12 have come inside the last 15 minutes with six coming inside the last five minutes.
Leicester’s pace and fitness have caught most teams out and there is a very good chance that they will punish Chelsea if Lampard’s side are forced to chase the game.
