Paddy’s football ambassador Phil Thompson has teamed up with PPTV once again to take a look at the best of the action in the Premier League on Saturday. West Brom head to Wolves early doors in our first of two tasty derbies, with Fulham hosting neighbours Chelsea in the evening.

Leicester and Southampton round off the day’s action with an intriguing contest at 8pm. So, here’s Thommo with his best bets for all three games and a tasty treble for Saturday.

12.30pm: Wolves v West Brom

I think they should be favourites, Wolves, but they are not the same side we’ve all loved recently. They’ve changed from three at the back to two at the back but I think the massive one is that they’re really missing Raul Jimenez.

He was so important to them. Now you’ve got Adama Traore out too. He missed the game against Everton which was big.

That loss to Everton didn’t come at a good time and they now have no win in five Premier League games, losing three of them. Most importantly they’ve had no clean sheets in 11 Premier League games. That’s so unlike Wolves.

Saturday 12.30pm: Wolves v West Brom
BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate

Has that got something to do with changing the formation? Possibly. They’ve only won one of the last five home Premier League games so it doesn’t look great for the hosts… but they’re playing West Brom so all is not lost!

If you’re ever looking for a game to get you back to winning ways it should be this, even if it is against their rivals. West Brom have struggled and lost the last two, conceding nine. They’ve won one point from the last four games since Sam Allardyce arrived – that was against my Liverpool. They’ve only scored 11 goals.

THOMMO’S TIPS: I would think this has got to be a home win and a clean sheet for Wolverhampton Wanderers. I’ll go Wolves to Win To Nil. I’ve been really impressed by Pedro Neto and they’re going to rely on him on Saturday. I would go for Neto to Score Anytime.

5.30pm Fulham v Chelsea

Fulham will fancy their chances because it’s a derby game. But they’ve been strange, haven’t they, Fulham? They’re not the most attractive team. Aleksandar Mitrovic isn’t doing it, and he didn’t really do it in the Premier League before either. Obviously he fills his boots in the Championship.

They’ve drawn five Premier League games on the bounce now, Fulham, losing just one of their last seven. The last two home games have been 0-0 draws so they’re not really going after teams or taking the chances they do get. They’ve won just one of the last eight at home.

Saturday 5.30pm: Fulham v Chelsea
Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League

Will they get something from Chelsea? They’ve not been at their best, and 26 points is the worst in five seasons they’ve had at this stage. They’ve won only one of the last six Premier League games, and only four points from 18? Get your money on Chelsea!

I think they’ll be feeling a lot happier with Timo Werner scoring, as I did say, in the cup last week.

THOMMO’S TIPS: I’m going for a 3-1 scoreline to Chelsea. Don’t go heavy on it, but I think Werner will Score 2 Goals or More.

8pm: Leicester v Southampton

Leicester have had a little bit of a wobble and mostly at home which is surprising. This one is going to be very, very strange. Leicester are unbeaten in five games in all competitions but they’ve won only two of their last seven at home which is quite amazing.

Jamie Vardy has got 13 goals, Harvey Barnes has scored nine times for them but they’ve won 12 more points have Leicester away from home than at home. It’s all pointing to them being more of an away side than a home one and they’re playing Southampton, my mate Matt Le Tisser’s team.

Saturday 8pm: Leicester v Southampton
BT Sport 1

They had a big win against Liverpool. How they got away with it, I do not know. There should have been at least six penalties given in that game!

But they’ve had clean sheets in their last three Premier League games which will please them. It tells me that they’ve maybe been a little more defensive and they’ve lost only one of the last 13 away.

THOMMO’S TIPS: This should be saying draw at least for Southampton but I’m going for Leicester to buck the trend with both teams to score and Leicester to win 2-1. Jamie Vardy and Harvey Barnes to Score Anytime.

Thommo’s Saturday treble

The treble I’m going for on Saturday is, I really fancy this one, I’m going for Leicester, Wolves and Chelsea to Win.
