Time is running out for clubs to bolster their squads in the January transfer window and Paddy’s traders have been busy weighing up which moves the think will happen. There’s a few big names floating about with Diego Costa’s next destination still to be decided while some up and coming stars like Brighton’s Ben White could be heading to one of the biggest clubs in England.

Diego Costa

Costa is a free agent after being released from his contract at Atletico Madrid right at the start of the window. The madcap Brazil-born hitman was widely expected to be heading to Wolves to cover for the injured Raul Jimenez but no deal has been done yet.

Unsurprisingly Wolves are still our traders’ most-likely destination for Costa, but Any Brazilian Club is next in the market ahead of Turkish giants Galatasaray.

There’s a fair chance he will head to China while a free transfer for Everton or Tottenham is thought to be his 5th and 6th most-likely move at this stage.

Jurgen Klopp

Ben White

Ben White’s performances for Brighton this season have been catching the eye after a breakthrough season on loan at Leeds in 2019/20. However, the bigger clubs are thought to be lurking with a lot of noise about a potential transfer to Liverpool before the end of the month in the last 24 hours.

They’re our 3rd favourites at the time of writing with Manchester United in pole position according to our trusty traders. AC Milan are 2nd favs in our list while Arsenal, Leeds and Manchester City also feature.

Julian Draxler

A man parenterally linked with a transfer to the Premier League, Julian Draxler, has popped up on the radar again in recent days. The Paris St-Germain midfielder hasn’t featured much for the French Champions in the last couple of seasons and Arsenal are the favourites to offer an escape route this month.

The attacking midfielder’s departure from Parc des Princes could be accelerated by the supposed arrival of Tottenham’s Del Alli. Leeds are second-most likely to do a deal in January while the Milan giants – Inter and AC are next on our list.

The full list of potential January transfers are listed here.
