Man City v Brighton
Half Time/Full Time: Man City
You look at who’s missing for Brighton: Yves Bissouma’s suspended, Aaron Connolly’s injured, Tariq Lamptey’s out – so for me it’s hard to see Brighton actually hurting Man City when they do get the ball. Man City are going to dominate the ball, dominate possession and dominate the game.
City are so short they’re unbackable in the 90 minute market so we’re looking for a bit of value with Man City to be winning at Half Time and Full Time is about the best we can get. If you look at Man City’s last five wins they’ve scored in the opening 20 minutes of all five.
Wednesday 6pm: Man City v Brighton
BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate
Since they lost to Tottenham in November they’ve played seven leagues games, winning five and drawing two. Only Manchester United have a better record over that period. City are up and running, they’ve come through Christmas now and in terms of the title race, they’re probably going to be playing every midweek between now and the end of the season.
They’ve got a big squad to cope with that, though, and for me City Half Time/Full Time is the best bet I can give you for this game.

Ilkay Gundogan to Score First
In terms of a goal scorer I was looking at Phil Foden again for all the reasons I’ve outlined a few times in the past. The thing with Man City when they’re really short like this, is that there is value in the goal scorer markets.
It looks like Sergio Aguero is out, Raheem Sterling is a doubt as well. I expect Foden to start because he scored against Chelsea and he’s been a real threat playing on the left of a front three, but the tip I’m going to give you is Ilkay Gundogan.
The reason being that he gets forward from midfield. The way City are setting up at the moment is without a recognised striker. Gundogan gets into the box, we’ve seen it against Chelsea. He’s scored the opener in all three of Man City’s last games and you’re going to get him at a nice price so, for me, Gundogan to Score First.
