Football Tips: Kane can guide Tottenham to win and land our 7/2 Bet Builder

Tottenham host Fulham on Thursday but will Jose Mourinho's men come out on top?

Both Tottenham and Fulham will be looking to end the year on a high after a rough December. Both teams have played five Premier League matches over the month, Fulham won none of theirs while Spurs won just one.

Can either side get it together for their final match of 2020? We’ve gone through all of the stats and trends to find the Three Best Bets for this match, let’s have a look at what we’ve picked.

6PM: Spurs v Fulham (Amazon Prime Video)

Both Teams to Score

Of their 15 PL matches Spurs have been held scoreless just three times, two of which were at home, in their opening home match against Everton and their shock 0-2 loss to Leicester City just before Christmas. This Fulham team aren’t exactly full of goals but have scored at least one in four of their seven away matches and are averaging exactly 1.0 goals per game on their league travels.

When the sides last met in the 2018/19 season both matches ended with Over 2.5 goals occurring and Both Teams to Score landing as well. Much has been made of Spurs’ lack of form of late, they’ve collected two points from a possible 12 over their last four matches and conceded at least a goal in all four of those matches.

While it’s hard to see Fulham pulling off a shock win here, they’ve won just one away PL match this season, they can certainly cause problems against a Spurs’ defence that has conceded seven over their five most recent matches in all competitions and who have only kept two clean sheets at home in the PL so far this campaign.

Harry Kane

Harry Kane to Score Anytime

As is usual with Spurs’ matches this season it comes down to choosing between Kane, currently on nine PL goals this season and Son Heung-Min on 11 but looking at recent form and recent outings against Fulham, the England striker gets our nod here.

Kane has scored four over his last five home Premier League matches to Son’s three and against Fulham he’s bagged five goals over his last three appearances against the Cottagers. Son has yet to score against Fulham and while he could certainly do so here we’re going with Harry Kane to Score Anytime here.

Spurs to Win & Over 2.5 Goals

While Spurs’ overall form looks bad over the last few weeks it must be said that they’ve only lost two of their seven home matches so far this season. Fulham have won just one of their seven on the road, drawing two and losing four.

We’ve made a strong case above for BTTS landing and Spurs have more than enough firepower to go at least one better here on the night. Kane and Son are a lethal combination on home turf and a win here would put them back into second if Man United fail to beat Wolves on Tuesday night.

Taking three points would put them firmly back into the title race and they should finish the year on a high here.

These Tottenham v Fulham tips combine for 7/2 Bet Builder acca:

Both Teams to Score
Harry Kane to Score Anytime
Spurs to Win & Over 2.5 Goals
