Paddy’s football ambassador has joined up with PPTV once again to deliver his thoughts on the most intriguing match of the weekend and he’s finding this one tough to call.
This, to me, is the historical game of the weekend. There’s so much in the past about these two teams. Certainly they don’t like each other going back quite a few years and now Leeds are back in the Premier League.
Leeds are the great entertainers; they have been absolutely fantastic. The result the other night against Newcastle was fantastic but they lost the previous two. They’ve won three of their last away games so this could suit them.
But I think Manchester United will be looking at this and Leeds have conceded the most goals from set pieces this season with 12. Man United are the great comeback kings, but mainly away from home.
Sunday 4.30pm: Manchester United v Leeds Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League
They’re getting nervous now because they’re at home. Who could ever say that they were not as good at Old Trafford, oh my goodness! United ended up having a little sweat in the 3-2 against Sheffield United.
Three home goals they’ve scored. Three goals at home all season! Two of them have been penalties. What’s the matter with you United?
But, throughout all this, Leeds being the entertainers, I do think United are having shoots of encouragement I think for United fans.
THOMMO’S TIP:I fancy a draw, I think both teams will score and I do think there will be goals. I’m going for a 2-2 draw.
