A point in this game will see Norwich celebrate Christmas Day at the top of the Championship. Daniel Farke’s side are three points clear of Bournemouth at the summit of the second tier with 40 points from 12 wins, four draws and three losses.
Following the 3-1 loss to Luton five games ago, they’ve gone on to win the next four Championship games by the same score line, 2-1, facing a couple of decent teams in that run. They’ve averaged 3.2 goals per game in the last five.

They take on Cardiff who are also in good nick with four wins in their last five, with the odd result out being the painful 2-0 loss to Swansea last weekend. Despite their good run The Bluebirds are down in 10th with 29 points from 19 games with eight wins, five draws and six defeats.
In Cardiff’s last five games, 14 goals have gone in at either end at an average of 2.8 per match. Both teams’ average combined works out at exactly three goals a game. This should be an entertaining contest and the figures and form are both pointing towards plenty of action so Over 2.5 Goals is the way to go as two sides in good form face off.
The second of Burton’s two wins this season came five games ago and since then they drew three and lost last time out. They’re rock bottom of League One with 13 points from 18 games with two wins, seven draws and nine losses.
Doncaster are 6th in the third tier with 30 points from nine wins, three draws and four losses. By the time Donny kick off on Saturday they will have three games in hand over some of their rivals and will be harbouring serious hopes of a genuine promotion charge.
Darren Moore’s men have won four of their last five games with the loss away at Hull no disgrace at all. Rovers are the better side in the better form and at an appealing price it’s worth backing Doncaster to Win on Saturday.
Swindon are on a four game losing streak heading into their League One encounter with Charlton on Saturday. They find themselves 22nd in the league with 16 points from 18 games and five wins, one draw and 12 losses.
Charlton’s blistering form in from mid October to the start of November which saw them win six on the bounce has cooled somewhat recently, but they did show flashes in the 5-2 win over AFC Wimbledon during the week. They are 7th with 30 points from nine wins three draws and four losses.
Lee Bowyer’s men will need to perform consistently better than they have in their last five games if they are to secure and immediate return to The Championship. They’ve won two, drawn one and lost two in the last five, but we’re backing Charlton to Win against a Swindon side who are low on confidence.
Former Blackburn midfielder David Dunn’s time at Barrow went about as well as his famous rabona and he was given the boot this week after a horror run of form which has his former team hovering above the League 2 trap door. Town only returned to the EFL over the summer and their situation would be even worse if it wasn’t for the dreadful showings from the two teams below them, Southend and Stevenage, so far this season.
They’ve lost their last five and haven’t won in nine. They have 13 points from 18 games with two wins, seven draws and nine defeats. Cheltenham will be looking to take advantage of their opponents’ lack of direction on Saturday and will be desperate to get back on track following a disappointing 1-0 loss to Bolton in the week.
They’re third in the league with 10 wins, three draws and five losses leading to their total of 33 points from 18 games. There’s no doubt The Robins are the better team and witn confidence and form on their side we should see a Cheltenham Win this weekend.
