14:00 AC Milan v Fiorentina: Milan to Win

Milan are still unbeaten in the league with six wins and two draws, and the market has them as priced as favourites here. Fiorentina aren’t on the best of runs, but they have beaten the home side on their two most recent visits to the San Siro. Milan actually haven’t lost a home Serie A match since a 1-2 loss to Genoa back in March though.

Fiorentina will take some confidence from knowing they’ve beaten Milan over their last two visits but the home side have the momentum though so we’re backing them here.

14:30 Bayer Leverkusen v Hertha Berlin: Over 3.5 Goals

Leverkusen are one of two unbeaten Bundesliga sides this season with five wins and three draws. Hertha have had an awful start to the campaign with two wins, one draw and five losses. The home side are also frontrunners here, but we can squeeze some extra value by looking more into the stats. Seven out of Leverkusen’s most recent eight matches have had Over 2.5 goals occurring and six saw Over 3.5 goals. At home in the league, four out of the last five have seen Overs landing as well.

For Hertha, their away matches has seen plenty of goalmouth action as well. The previous five away matches in all competitions have seen Over 2.5 goals, while three saw Over 3.5. We’ve got to go with goals here, while Over 2.5 goals may be the safer option,  the price on Over 3.5 looks sweeter with those stats.

19:45 Napoli v Roma: Both Teams To Score in the Second Half

As is typical with Napoli when they’re good, they’re good and when they’re bad, they’re awful. Their league position of sixth proves this with five wins and three losses. Roma are two places above them with five wins and three draws. For years this was a drab affair at the Stadio San Paolo (soon to be renamed after Diego Maradona), but over the last four meetings three have seen Over 2.5 goals – and all four have seen BTTS occurring.

Napoli have scored seven second-half goals over their five most recent Serie A matches at home. Roma also turn up the heat in the second half, and have scored nine second-half goals over their five most recent away matches. With those stats, and the price on offer, we’re going with BTTS in the second half.

20:00 Real Sociedad v Villarreal: Real Sociedad to Win

Real Sociedad have only lost one of their last 10 matches in all competitions, and at home have now won their last six La Liga matches on the trot. Villarreal are in good overall form too though and they’re unbeaten over their last 11 matches in all competitions.

But, their away form isn’t great, they’ve won just one of their last five on their La Liga travels, drawing two and losing two. With the home side striding at home and the Yellow Submarine (surely the best nickname in football) struggling for form and goals on the road, we have to side with the home team here.
