Football tips: Paddy’s 25/1 BTTS acca from across Europe on Saturday

We're on the hunt for goals across the continent on Halloween.

For Saturday’s European football matches we’re going to take a look at a Both Teams to Score five-fold Acca. It’s Halloween around these parts on Saturday and while most of Europe doesn’t celebrate it the way we do, will we see some scary results? There’s three big names in particular playing away from home who struggle to keep Clean Sheets and they could struggle again this weekend. Read on to find out what we’ve picked…

2.30pm: FC Koln vs Bayern Munich – Bayern to Win & BTTS

Koln are averaging bang on one goal per game and are conceding 1.80. At home last season, they scored a very healthy 1.65 and conceded 1.59. Bayern Munich, well, their stats are obviously going to be good, they’ve averaged 4.40 goals per game this season, conceding 1.60.

Koln aren’t on a particularly good run of form but hosting the Bavarians always sees ‘The Billy Goats’ raise their game and over their last two meetings at home they scored in both. They’re on a good scoring run at home too, having netted in all 17 of their most recent Bundesliga fixtures at RheinEnergiestadion. Bayern have won here in 11 out of 13 previous Bundesliga visits and in such great form we’re backing the European Champions to Win but with Koln’s record we should see them getting a goal.

5pm: Inter vs Parma – Inter to Win & BTTS

Inter have been appearing on these pages quite a bit this season, Parma less so. Inter have started the season incredibly well and are just behind Atalanta and Napoli in the goals in Italy’s Serie A. Parma’s campaign hasn’t started as well as last season but they’re scoring and have netted in four out of four previous visits to the San Siro.

Inter are conceding plenty as well, having scored 13 over their five league matches, they’ve shipped eight. Parma have six goals to their name and 11 against. It’s Inter’s lack of Clean Sheets at home that’s really swinging it here for us, nine out of their last 12 Serie A matches have seen them concede at least one. They’re in fine form though and are certainly strong enough to beat a Parma side who have only won once so far this season.

5.30pm: Borussia Monchengladbach vs RB Leipzig – BTTS

Both teams have started the season in good goal-scoring form, ‘Gladbach have eight over their five Bundesliga matches and five against. Leipzig are behind Bayern Munich as the second-highest scorers in the league with 12 for and three against.

At home ‘Gladbach are pretty strong, they’ve only lost two of their last 15 Bundesliga matches, winning 10, drawing three and losing just two. Leipzig are also strong on their travels with nine wins from their 15 most recent league matches on the road, drawing four and losing two. BTTS has landed in three out of four recent meetings here and with both in great goal-scoring form that should continue.

8pm: Nantes vs PSG – BTTS

Nantes’ season hasn’t gotten off to a brilliant start, however, they’ve scored nine over their seven Ligue Un matches so far, conceding 10. PSG have 20 goals to their name and just three against. What makes us think Nantes will get one here then? Over Nantes 20 most recent league matches at home they’ve scored in 14 and have scored seven over their three home league matches played this season.

PSG have kept it tight on the road, conceding just one in their four away matches this season but Nantes love taking on PSG here and have scored at least one in five out of eight previous matches here. With those stats we think we’re getting a decent price here so we’re backing BTTS.

8pm: Alaves vs Barcelona – BTTS: No

While Barcelona have been far from perfect this season, having won two, drawn one and lost two of their five matches this season we got to see Barcelona clicking against Juventus midweek and this could be a turning point for the Catalans. Coming up against Alaves they face a side who have not scored against them at home in any of their eight recent visits.

Add to this Alaves have only scored five in their seven La Liga matches this season and with Barcelona keeping three Clean Sheets over their four most recent away La Liga matches we’re going with BTTS: No here.
