Thommo’s back for the second instalment of his Premier League tips this weekend and we kick off with a great-looking game on Friday night at 8pm.
The Liverpool legend jumped on a Zoom call with PPTV to take a look at what’s going to happen as Villa, with four wins from four, face Leeds – the neutral’s favourite! (Who’d have thought it, eh?)

Wow, Villa! Do they think that they think that they are the new Leicester? Do they think this is going to be their year? You can imagine the Villa fans lumping on Villa to win the title!
In fairness, I think they’re justified at the moment because they’re hanging in their games, have defensively got a lot better and have added a couple of the signings, and I must say Ross Barkley has been an absolutely great addition. He’s played really well, as I could see against Liverpool, and then he got the winner against Leicester last week. He’s been a tremendous signing but will they be a Leicester? I’m not quite sure.
THOMMO’S TIP: I think Leeds are a decent outfit, they played quite well against Wolves, they just couldn’t manage to get over the line. Wolves won with that own goal. I’m calling this a bubble burster for Villa… but not too much. I’m going for a 1-1 draw.
In terms of a goal scorer I’m going for the influential man that is Jack Grealish and it is a shame that he is not more regular in the England side, what a player.
