Pep Guardiola has said star striker Sergio Aguero’s future at Man City isn’t guaranteed, with his deal set to expire at the end of the season. The comments have caused us to price up where the Argentinian could move next, should his time at the Etihad be over.
Could a link up with another Manchester icon be on the cards? Juventus – where former United icon Cristiano Ronaldo calls home – are the early favourites to secure Aguero’s signature in the betting.
The odds also suggest Aguero could make a move to Real Madrid, with the club a close second to The Old Lady in the prices. They are followed by Paris Saint-Germain, but also in the running are Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan – though a shock shift to Man United is seen as very unlikely. No surprise there.
But after seeing those quotes from Pep we initially had a mad vision of him doing a reverse-Tevez and moving across Manchester. Judging at the odds, we can put that thought to bed now though. He’s far more likely to join Juventus or Real Madrid, should City decide to sell their all-time top scorer.
