Liverpool have called for the 2020/2021 Premier League season to be scrapped following yesterday’s controversial Merseyside derby draw.
Club officials are demanding the remainder of the season be declared null and void after becoming the first side in Premier League history to have dodgy VAR decisions go against them.
The Anfield club are furious after Jordan Henderson’s injury-time winner was disallowed when a hair follicle on Sadio Mane’s elbow was deemed to have strayed into an offside position.
They also called into question Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford’s MMA assault of Virgil van Dijk which Jurgen Klopp claimed to be worthy of at least two red cards.
In an official statement released last night, Liverpool said:
‘Following yesterday’s events at Goodison Park, we have asked the Premier League to declare the 2020/2021 season null and void’.
‘How the f**k was Mane offside? Somebody please explain this to us?’

‘And Pickford’s challenge was a double red card all day long’.
‘Cheers Premier League, kids are crying now’.
Meanwhile, club captain Jordan Henderson claims yesterday’s VAR decisions prove there’s a Premier League conspiracy to stop Liverpool winning back-to-back titles.
‘They bent the lines! Ah canna believe they bent the lines’, the 30-year-old midfielder told Paddy Power News.
‘The Premier League, VAR, Sky Sports, the CIA, the Free Masons, they’re all in on it, man’.

Surely a late winner for the Reds! Sadio Mane pulls it back to Jordan Henderson and the captain makes no mistake! #EVELIV

‘And Steven Avery is innocent pet’, he screamed before being dragged onto the team bus by Jurgen Klopp.
However, claims that Everton were given preferential treatment by officials during yesterday’s 2-2 were met with a raised eyebrow by Carlo Ancelotti.
‘I think the match officials had a cracking game’, grinned the 61-year-old.
When pressed on Jordan Pickford’s challenge on Van Dijk which led to the Liverpool defender being substituted, the former Real Madrid boss said:
‘In Jordan’s defence, that’s the closest he’s got to the ball the whole game’.
