Following VAR’s latest masterclass in mind-melting, Paddy Power have issued a ‘justice refund’ on all single bets on Liverpool to win the Merseyside Derby – as they should’ve done, but for VAR’s intervention. Jordan Henderson’s injury time goal was ruled out for…god knows. VAR, innit?
🚨JUSTICE REFUND🚨

The issue all came from Sadio Mane, who provided the pass for Henderson, as VAR adjudged the Senegalese attacker to be offside in the in the build-up. So, Paddy Power have refunded pre-match single bets on Liverpool winning the game (T&Cs apply). Let’s face it, it’s only fair to do just that. So, even though Jurgen Klopp won’t be smiling tonight, at least those who backed Liverpool today will be.
Asked his thoughts on it all Paddy said: “I don’t want to start sounding like yer da, but the game’s gone if that was offside. It isn’t the first horror-show we’ve witnessed this season, nor will it be the last. All we can do is try and reintroduce some justice for our punters.”
