Ireland v Wales tips: Double delight with 9/1 Browne to put things right on Sunday

These two teams are looking to get back on the horse on Sunday in the Nations League.

Ireland are coming here off that disappointing result against Slovakia on Thursday night, where they got beat on penalties, and it’s never nice to lose in that manner. I think they have to take positives out of the game and those were that we played really, really well on the night.

That was only Stephen Kenny’s third game in charge and is hopefully a glimpse of the future once Kenny gets more time with the players. I’m very hopeful for the game on Sunday.

Ireland To Win

It is important that we get some sort of a result on Sunday but it will be difficult against Wales who have picked up two wins already in the Nations League but lost to England in the week. But I do fancy the chances of Ireland getting the Win here.

Alan Browne to Score First

In terms of a first goal scorer it is difficult to predict the line-ups with three games in quick succession so Stephen will have to rotate. It will be interesting to see what he goes with, there will be changes but I don’t think it will be wholesale changes.

I’ll go for Alan Browne to Score First because I thought he played really well on Thursday and got himself into good positions. He was unlucky not to finish off the one that hit the post but he does score goals from midfield for Preston and I think he’ll get a start on Sunday against Wales.
