With another transfer window over and another international break underway we’ve already seen the traditional interview from Paul Pogba linking himself with a move to Real Madrid. But we think his ‘dream move’ may well be just that, as he’s rated most likely to still be at Man United following the January transfer window.
In fact, he’s priced at odds on to still be at Old Trafford at the end of 2021, but odds against to still be there at the end of 2025. Despite the France World Cup winner’s not-so-subtle hints, the odds of him heading to the Spanish capital haven’t moved since reports of his desire to go there came out on Thursday night.
In terms of other clubs which may secure his signature before February 2nd, PSG are rated as second-most likely. We think a romantic return to Juventus has less chance of happening, but more than a move to Barcelona.
It wouldn’t be a Manchester United transfer odds story without a Serie A side poking their nose in and Inter Milan have been priced up, though that’s something of a long shot despite their love for Old Trafford misfits.
Our odds would suggest it’s far more likely that he’ll be staying exactly where he is, at least in the short term.
