Football Tips: Our big-value 23/1 acca for Thursday’s international action

Four games, one big-value accumulator for Thursday's international football.

The qualifiers involving the Irish and British teams are written about elsewhere on these pages. so we’ve taken a look at some of the other fascinating Euro 2020 qualifiers happening on Thursday night and we’re found a very tasty-looking four-fold Acca.

Let’s have a look at the ties and what we’re predicting.

17:00 Georgia vs Belarus: Both Teams to Score

Georgia are favourites here but they’re still over Evens at the time of writing. Over their last two Nations League matches they beat Estonia away from home and drew at home with North Macedonia.

Belarus lost at home to Albania but beat Kazakhstan away from home. Georgia are one of those tricky teams, they’re very tough to beat at home, they’re unbeaten in their last four at home and indeed have lost just one of their last 13 home games.

Belarus have won three out of three recent away matches but lost all three of their prior away games.

There really isn’t much between these sides and it could well end as a draw here. Both teams are getting on the scoresheet of late in their recent matches and we think we’re getting good value on Both Teams to Score here.

19:45 Bulgaria vs Hungary: Under 1.5 Goals

Bulgaria aren’t in good form coming into this match, they’ve won just one of their last five matches, drawing one and losing three. Hungary aren’t much better but have won two and lost three, they have had to play against better teams though.

Bulgaria have scored a total of two goals over their five most recent at home while Hungary have scored five over their five away matches but were scoreless in two of them. This has the look of a 1-0, 0-0 or 0-1 so we’re backing Under 1.5 Goals here.

19:45 Iceland vs Romania: Both Teams to Score

Iceland come into this match with two defeats under their belt having lost to both England at home and Belgium away. Romania have done far better over their Nations League matches, drawing 1-1 with Northern Ireland and beating Austria 2-3 away from home.

At home though Iceland have a good record, winning four of their last six, losing the other two to France and England so no shame there. Romania have been good on the road, winning three, drawing one and losing two, to Sweden and Spain, again, no shame there at all.

Iceland are one of the best teams at keeping their opponents scoreless, keeping four Clean Sheets over those six matches but Romania have scored 13 over their six. We can’t see Iceland keeping the Romanians scoreless here so we’re backing Both Teams to Score at nice odds.

19:45 Norway vs Serbia: Over 2.5 Goals

Norway have recently lost 1-2 at home to Austria but beat Northern Ireland 1-5 a month ago. Serbia over their recent Nations League matches lost 1-3 away to Russia and drew 0-0 with Turkey at home. At home Norway have a fairly good record, they’ve lost just one of their last six on Norwegian soil.

Serbia are decent on the road though, winning two, drawing two (with both Germany and Portugal) and losing two (Ukraine and Russia).

We like the look of goals here, Over 2.5 goals has landed in four out of Norway’s six recent home matches, while it has also occurred in four out of six away Serbia matches.

With the likes of Erling Haaland, Aleksandar Mitrovic and Dusan Tadic taking to the field here, we think there’s going to be a few goals so we’re backing Over 2.5 goals here.
