Thursday night sees the final qualification round for this year’s Group Stage of the Europa League taking place, and Celtic are off to Bosnia & Herzegovina to take on FK Sarajevo. Let’s have a look at a Same Game Multi bet for the crunch clash.

Celtic are heavily fancied to do the business against the current Bosnian champions here but it must be mentioned that the home side are in pretty good form of late. They’ve won their last five matches in-a-row and at home they’ve lost only two of their last 15 in all competitions. Celtic are obviously flying it in the league, having won seven and drawn one over their eight matches so far but things haven’t been so rosey on the European stage.
They eased past Iceland’s KR in their opening match but crashed out 1-2 to Hungary’s Ferencvaros at home and it took a 90th-minute goal last Thursday night to see them get past Riga to qualify for this match.
There’s some history between these sides as they previously met in the qualification rounds of the Champions League in July last year where Celtic were 5-2 winners on aggregate. Both teams are in good goal-scoring form. Sarajevo are averaging 2.25 goals per match in their league while Celtic are averaging 2.88 in the Scottish Premiership. Knowing that Sarajevo scored in both ties against Celtic last year too we think Both Teams to Score is a good shout and at very decent odds here.
Odsonne Edouard to Score First
The young Frenchman has started off this season in flying form, finding the back of the net four times in his six league appearances and has one from one in the Champions League too. Celtic might have to sit back here and let Sarajevo come at them for periods of the game and when they get possession back they’ll be getting it up the field to Edouard as fast as they can. He’s certainly the most dangerous player Celtic have and one they can trust on to get goals when needed. We’re getting decent odds here on a player in good form so we’re backing him to open the scoring.
