Well, Paddy’s trader Brian McDonnell isn’t so sure and he’s outlined why in his preview video with PPTV.

Shamrock Rovers v AC Milan
I think this is one of the biggest chances an Irish team will have for a giant-killing given the one-legged format of the competition.
It’s not always easy to do it away from home and there are no second chances here. AC Milan are not the same team they were 10 years ago and finished sixth in Serie A last season.
They were unbeaten in 12 starts since the lockdown and they will be bringing a strong side here as well, though.
Their away form in Europe against smaller teams hasn’t been that impressive recently with a few single-goal wins in various qualifying stages in the last couple of seasons.
Shamrock Rovers to qualify
Rovers are stronger than the teams they’ve struggled to beat and I think an upset could be on the cards here. Rovers are top and are going very well in the league while being on an 11-game unbeaten run which has seen them concede just six goals. So, they’re on a roll.
They have an advantage over Milan in the fact that they have been playing competitive football over the last few weeks and they will definitely be much more match fit than their Italian opponents.
I don’t think it is too far fetched to think Rovers can keep Milan at bay and maybe take them on a penalty shootout.
I think the price on Rovers to Qualify is too big not to have a bite at.
Shamrock Rovers (+3)
If you don’t think they’ll qualify the handicap is well worth a look at. It’s +3 at the moment which is very generous and it’s come in for all the home Europa League qualifying games so far bar one.
Milan are obviously the better team but I think the price is just too big on Shamrock Rovers to qualify not to get involved.
