The odds of Gabriel Jesus joining Barcelona this summer have completely collapsed after being around 20/1 on Wednesday morning.
Paddy’s traders have been forced to slash their odds following strong reports that the Brazilian forward will be used in some kind of deal to bring Lionel Messi to Manchester City, which is now odds on.
Messi told Barca that he wanted to cancel his contract earlier this week and City are the big favourites to pull off his signing. However, the Catalan club are insisting he will not leave for nothing.

For Messi, City are big favourites with Inter Milan cruising into second favourite, ahead of early front-runners PSG who we now think are third-most likely to sign the GOAT. United and Chelsea trail the French champions.
Paddy said: “Trading Jesus for God is a definite upgrade – although I’m not sure the same can be said for swapping Barcelona for Man City.
“The odds have shortened drastically today, with the seemingly impossible transfer of Lionel Messi to City now odds-on – and Gabriel Jesus looks set to go in the opposite direction.”

The former Liverpool striker is evens to return to the club he left the Kop for, Ajax. An MLS move is next-most likely while Inter and Liverpool are also in the running, along with PSG and Borussia Dortmund.
