Champions League tips: Our top trader’s 3 best bets for RB Leipzig v PSG

Our football trader Jason Murphy is back with his selections for tonight's massive Champions League clash.

Paris St-Germain take on RB Leipzig in Tuesday’s huge Champions League semi final, but where’s the value? Take a look at Jason’s preview with PPTV below and read on as we outline his best bets.

PSG will definitely be stronger here than they were against Atalanta with Kylian Mbappe returning to the starting line-up, but they will be missing Keylor Navas in goal.

The replacement is a concern, it’s Sergio Rico who played in goal for Fulham when they were relegated from the Premier League a couple of seasons ago, letting in 80-plus goals along the way.

There’s a couple more concerns for PSG with Marco Verratti likely to be out and Idrissa Gueye is a bit of a loss, but going forward they’re about as good as they can be.

RB Leipzig to win

I think PSG are a little overpriced in the market, though. They just look too short so the value is with RB Leipzig, whether that’s to qualify or to win in the 90 mins, so we’ll go with the latter here.

In terms of a first goal scorer, if you’re going the PSG route, Mbappe and Neymar are absolutely the two to look at but the way Leipzig set up, it’s all about the process, they’re very good defensively. Both Teams To Score is a bit short, I think but you can see that happening.

Dani Olmo to Score First

However, I think Leipzig can win the match and what they do is they work it to the wings and cross it. If they can’t cross it they come back inside and go through the process again, almost like Irish rugby does, it’s all about the process.

They create chances but they don’t always take them, so I would rather take a look at Dani Olmo at the bigger price than Yussuf Poulsen.

Marcel Sabitzer Score First

Poulsen will start up top and Patrik Schick will probably be on the bench but Olmo scored the opener last week and Marcel Sabitzer, the pass he had for the second goal against Atletico was phenomenal, but he does score. He has 13 already this season and they will both be double figures.

I would rather, if I was going the Leipzig route, go at a slightly bigger price than Poulsen who will be playing up top.
