19:45 Dundalk v Waterford: Dundalk to win to nil
Given their recent history of success, you would have to fancy Dundalk to grab the victory and advance past Waterford here. However, even though they have been the standard bearers in the League of Ireland over the last number of years, their current form must be a worry for manager Vinny Perth.
Dundalk have only picked up a point out of the last six available since the resumption. That may give Waterford some hope, but one suspects their will be a massive reaction from the home side here.
Waterford have been okay since the restart, but I watched them against Cork City last week and they will be disappointed with the fact that they never really troubled the City goalkeeper, as the game ended in a 0-0 draw.
The Lilywhites have a lot of goals in their team and after Friday’s defeat to Bohemians, Vinny Perth may ring the changes and he will have players coming into the side with a point to prove. I’m expecting a huge performance for Dundalk and they can win this with a few goals to spare without conceding.

19:45 Cork City v Longford Town: Longford to win
Cork City may be favourites to win here, but I’m not going to back them.
I fancy Longford to spring a surprise at Turners Cross. They are riding high in the First Division, I know they’ve got aspirations of being promoted and that’s where their priorities are.
But, Cork City have had a dreadful time of it over the last few weeks and they are struggling around the bottom of the table. They have only scored once in seven matches and the question is, where are the goals going to come from for them?
Longford are good value in the markets, and I believe they can cause what would be called “an upset” here, but it wouldn’t a surprise to me. I’m confident of a Longford victory in this one.
