Brescia’s fate looks more or less sealed, for them to stay up they’d need to win all of their remaining games and have other results go their way. The home side have won two, drawn two and lost five since the restart.
But their home record is better, having won two, drawn one and lost two of their five most recent.
Parma have been pretty awful too though, winning two, drawing two and losing six since the restart.
They are scoring plenty though and beat Napoli 2-1 midweek. Five from five previous matches involving both teams have ended with Over 2.5 goals and with both are in pretty robust goalscoring form – Brescia averaging 1.12 and conceding 1.82 at home and Parma scoring 1.41 and conceding 1.71 on the road – we’re backing goals here.
Inter currently stand seven points behind league leaders Juventus but they play Udinese on Thursday night, a game they’re hotly-tipped to win. Inter will be desperate for the points, however over their two most recent games they’ve taken just two points from a possible six, while Genoa have taken six from six.
The home side have finally found some form when it matters. They’ve currently four points above the relegation zone and have won three and lost two of their five most recent home matches. Inter’s away form is good though and they’ve not lost any of their away matches since the restart.
Historically speaking, Genoa have the advantage here, as they’ve beaten Inter in four out of five recent meetings between the pair at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris. Both sides have plenty to play for here and we should see them getting on the scoresheet.
Genclerbirligi come into the match knowing they are safe from relegation regardless of what happens here. Besiktas, on the other hand, can overtake Sivasspor in third and guarantee Europa League football next season. So, the pressure will really be on the away side here.
Since the restart they’ve played seven, winning five and losing two. Genclerbirligi have won two, drawn two and lost three. These don’t tend to be pulsating affairs as none of the last five meetings have produced Over 2.5 goals.
The home side are averaging 1.13 goals and conceding 1.25 per game, while Besiktas are scoring 1.38 and conceding 1.56 on their league travels this season. With those stats and with the away side pushing for the Europa League Group Stage place, we reckon this one should buck the recent trend and we’ll be seeing goals here.
Napoli have won two, drawn two and lost one of their five most recent matches, at home they’ve won four and drawn one of their most recent Serie A games.
Sassuolo have won two, drawn two and lost one of their five most recent, and away from home they’ve won three and drawn two. Napoli are averaging 1.53 and conceding 1.35 goals per home match, meanwhile Sassuolo are scoring 1.39 and conceding 1.56 on their travels.
Napoli should edge it here thanks to their good home form, but we’re expecting Sassuolo to get at least one at some very tasty odds.
