Liverpool ‘definitely’ signing Werner according to lad with 46 followers on Twitter

Big news for Reds.

Jurgen Klopp Liverpool manager

Liverpool have won the race to sign Timo Werner according to a lad on Twitter who claims to be ‘in the know’.

Werner is one of the most sought-after players in Europe with Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United all reportedly interested in the striker.

It was expected the scrap for his signature would be one of the big stories of the upcoming transfer window – until now.

The admin of a Twitter account called ‘Shankly’s Kop YNWA 6 Times’ claims that Werner to Liverpool is ‘already a done deal’.

Using the handle ‘Kopite71’, the admin claims to have ‘sources within the club’ who have assured him Werner will be a Liverpool player next season.

Addressing his 46 followers this morning, @Kopite71 Tweeted:

‘According to my Anfield source, Timo Werner has already agreed personal terms with Liverpool FC’.

‘Both clubs have agreed a fee of £52M and the deal will be completed subject to Werner passing a medical, which I’ve been personally invited to attend’.

The admin, who claims to have been instrumental in the club’s decision to sign Virgil van Dijk, also revealed that Liverpool have asked him to scout Werner during RB Leipzig’s game against SC Freiburg tomorrow.

‘Also, as Liverpool FC have asked me to run my eye over Werner during tomorrow’s game, I was wondering if any of you could post a decent stream before kick-off?’

However, given @Kopite71’s sketchy track record with some previous ‘inside scoops’, his legion of 46 followers were sceptical to say the least.

‘What about the time you said you spotted Kylian Mbappe eating in Five Guys in Liverpool ONE?’, Tweeted @RedNWhite83.

‘Suppose he’ll be playing alongside Sancho and Nicolas Pepe who we signed last year according to you? D*ckhead’, replied @AnfieldRoar79.

‘Who’s your source? G*bsh*te’, wrote @Carra23.

Meanwhile, one Twitter user urged followers of ‘Shankly’s Kop YNWA 6 Times’ to avoid using any links to the game posted under the thread.

‘DO NOT under any circumstances use any links suggested on this thread to stream the Leipzig game’, implored @FowlersNasalStrip.

‘I clicked on one a few months ago and the last time I had that many viruses I’d to go to a GUM clinic’, he added.
