Things are tight at the top of the Bundesliga with leaders Bayern Munich just four points ahead of rivals Borussia Dortmund, so we have taken a look at both teams below.

Fifth-placed Bayer Leverkusen are away to relegation-threatened Werder Bremen too and could jump up to third with a win, Bremen need a win or they could be doomed though.

Here’s the treble we fancy for all the action over the next few days.

Dortmund v Schalke: Dortmund & Over 2.5 Goals @ 11/10

Saturday 14:30

This will be the 96th Revierderby league match and the 48th played on Dortmund soil. The home side have history on their side here having won 20 of the previous 47. There have been 15 draws and 12 wins for Schalke in the time also. Over the previous 47 matches 140 goals were scored, with an average of 2.97 per match.

Dortmund will be without some of their first teamers though; Marco Reus probably won’t start, Axel Witsel and Emre Can are out and Jadon Sancho faces a late fitness test. Schalke will be without Benjamin Stambouli and Ozan Kabak.

Over the five most recent league meetings between the sides at the Westfalenstadion, Dortmund have won two, one has ended as a draw and Schalke have won two. Schalke haven’t scored an away goal in any of their four most previous away matches though, so we’re not touching Both Teams to Score and the home side should come out on top.

These do tend to be high scoring affairs though, with four of the last five ending with Over 2.5 goals and 3/5 with Over 3.5 goals. That’s why we’re backing the home side and Over 2.5 goals here at 11/10.

Union Berlin v Bayern Munich: Both Teams to Score (Yes) @ 19/20

Sunday 17:00

Union Berlin have been this season’s surprise package, currently sitting on 11th position on 30 points following their promotion to the top flight. Bayern, meanwhile, endured a rough first few months but thanks to that winning mentality and some hard-fought matches now find themselves four points ahead of Dortmund at the top of the table.

Union have won just two of their last Bundesliga matches, whereas Bayern have won five out of five on their travels of late and eight of 10 on the road in all competitions. Union’s goalscoring form has been decent though, they’ve scored in four of their previous five home league matches.

Bayern have conceded 1.25 goals per game on average away from home though, so we’re going a little against the crowd here because with those stats. Back Both Teams to Score at 19/20, it is decent value.

Werder Bremen v Bayer Leverkusen: Leverkusen to Win @ 8/13

Monday 19:30

Werder Bremen are in big trouble and are all but doomed if they don’t get the win here. The chances of them winning are slim though, and our traders have priced them at 7/2.

They’ve won just one of their last 10 home league matches, add to this an injury list as long as your arm and it could be a long night for the home side. Leverkusen are on decent away form of winning three of their last five on the road and Werder could well be doomed here.

Werder’s home scoring record of 0.73 goals per league game just isn’t even good enough for us to consider Both Teams to Score, this one looks like an away win for Bayer all night long. Bayer to Win is priced at 8/13 and it’s a tasty bet.

Bundesliga bet summary:

Dortmund v Schalke: Dortmund & Over 2.5 Goals @ 11/10
Union Berlin v Bayern Munich: Both Teams to Score (Yes) @ 19/20
Werder Bremen v Bayer Leverkusen: Leverkusen to Win @ 8/13
