Football punter coups a cool £19,172 by bagging an incredible 8 draws from £1 stake

I can barely get one draw, let alone eight.

We’ve been stung again, folks. And what a superb bet to get stung by, indeed. One lucky punter will be living it large tonight after he bagged eight draws (yes, eight!) off a £1 stake in our Fulham shop, couping a cool £19,172.42 into his back pocket.

I can barely get one draw let alone eight!

Whether he did his homework in advance or he picked his selections at random, our punter went through the leagues in England to land his eight fold acca. His first selection was a no brainer; Newcastle can’t get a goal for love nor money so all he was banking on there was Sean Dyche’s team not to find the net – which they didn’t. Happy days.

But with nine minutes left of normal time, he needed three results to start pulling their weight and the footballing Gods certainly answered his call.

An 81st-minute equaliser by Birmingham’s (and, ahem, Ireland’s) Scott Hogan began the comeback. A minute later, Brennan Dickenson decided he wanted to do his bit for our punter and bagged an equaliser for Exeter at home to Crawley Town.

Eight nerve-racking minutes went by until gorgeous George – George Miller, that is – steps up and bangs one in for Scunthorpe United in the 90th minute, sending our lucky loyal customer into our punting Hall of Fame. Welcome, my dear friend.

Now, lucky punter, the only question left is: what are you spending your winnings on?

Also, a random fact for you before I go; George Miller is the nephew of referee Mark Halsey. What are the odds??
