Football betting tips: Back this youngster to see yellow in Man United v Wolves

The best bet on the game hinges on a Wolves speedster outgunning his opposite number.

Pick: Brandon Williams to be booked

Over the years we’ve watched Adama Traore play for the likes of Villa and Middlesbrough and been frustrated by him. He’d go by three players on bridle and run the ball out of play or fail to beat the first man with a cross. But at these clubs he was working under the likes of Tim Sherwood, Remi Garde and Tony Pulis – how is he supposed to develop his game with managers like that?

Since Traore has moved to Wolves and worked under Nuno Espirito Santo you can really see the change in his game. He’s finally started to have an end product and is starting to have some awareness of what is going on around him, this is evident with his 7 assists this season.

Traore got six goals in 61 games for Boro and already has four goals this season. Built like a rugby player, as quick as an Olympic and with the decision-making to go with all this. He’s absolutely amazing to watch.

Twenty players have been booked for fouls on Traore this season, which is a ridiculous stat. Because he is so strong and quick the only option sometime is to take him out of the game. On Saturday he will come up against Brandon Williams. Williams has three yellow cards in five Premier League games and certainly doesn’t pull out of tackles.

He’s looked like a decent player since he’s come into the United starting 11 but Traore could give him an awful time! Williams to be carded (currently 7/5) is a good bet here, given his inexperience.

Surely Bruno Fernandes has to come into the starting 11 straight away after his 50+ million pound move from Sporting? United finally have a player in the middle of the park with creativity and with an eye for goal. Fernandes was involved in 33 (20 goals, 13 assists) goals in 33 games for Sporting last season and I expect him to be a success at United.

Marcus Rashford is so important for United but he’s still injured so United look like the will go with Daniel James and Mason Greenwood either side of Anthony Martial. They struggled to break Burnley down and I wouldn’t be backing United at 6/5 to win the match.

I wouldn’t discourage anyone backing Wolves to win the match (currently 5/2) but get your few bob on Williams to be carded.

Saturday 17:30 – Utd 11/10, Draw 11/5, Wolves 5/2
