Blackpool v Wimbledon: Over 2.5 Goals – 3/4
Blackpool are on a good run of form and are unbeaten in their last five. Their home form is similarly good, they’re unbeaten in their last four in all competitions, where they’ve scored 10 goals. There’s been plenty of goalmouth action in recent Blackpool matches as well, over 2.5 goals has landed in five of their previous seven league matches at home.
Wimbledon’s away form has been terrible, of their nine most recent fixtures in all competitions they’ve lost eight and won just one – shipping a total of 19 goals. The one silver lining is that they’ve averaged 1.38 goals per game on the road in the league, so they should get on the scoresheet here.
Blackpool should win here but Wimbledon are capable of scoring so the value here is on the Over 2.5 goals market.
Gillingham v Lincoln: Both Teams to Score – 4/5
Gillingham have won just two of their five last league matches at Priestfield Stadium. They are scoring though, averaging 1.75 goals per game at home and have scored six in their last five at home.
Lincoln’s away form in the league is worrying, they’ve won just one of nice games on their travels. The good news is that they’ve averaged 0.92 goals per game in their last 12 matches on the road in all competitions.
The value here is again with goals, BTTS is currently priced at 4/5 and will likely fall the closer we get to kick off.
Forest Green v Plymouth Argyle: Forest Green to Win – 5/4
Forest Green have been in good form of late, winning three, drawing one and losing one of their five most recent fixtures. In the league they’ve picked up a total of 14 points from a possible 21 at home.
They’ve not been scoring tons at The New Lawn, but they’ve only conceded five goals so far this season in the league.
Plymouth’s away form has seen them win just two of their eight League Two away matches this season and Forest Green should be too strong for them here. 5/4 is a great price for a team on a good run taking on a side who are dodgy on the road.
Crawley Town v Morecambe: Over 2.5 Goals – 17/20
At The People’s Pension Stadium Over 2.5 goals has landed in four of the previous five league matches for Crawley and over their league fixtures so far this season at home the Red Devils are averaging 1.38 goals and 1.50 goals conceded per match.
Morecambe have won just one of their last six on the road, losing the other five. The good news for us is that they’re getting on the scoresheet, scoring three in their last four on the road and they’re conceding plenty too. They’ve let in 10 goals in their last five away matches in the league.
Both teams don’t seem to care much for the art of defending, so there will be goals here.
