Premier League betting tips: Our 17/1 Same Game Multi on Watford v Chelsea

Frank’s youngsters are flying up the table.

Chelsea face a tough test on Saturday evening, but they can make it five Premier League wins in-a-row if they defeat Watford at Vicarage Road.

A Marcus Rashford wonder strike ended a seven-game winning streak in all competitions for The Blues during the week, as a weakened Chelsea dropped out of the Carabao Cup.

However, Chelsea will be back to full strength here and Frank Lampard’s men visit Watford coming off the back of four straight Premier League victories.

Their last three away games in the league have seen them net 13 times and they will rightly be full of confidence.

While Chelsea are scoring for fun, Watford have only managed five goals all year. Key injuries in attack – most notably their talisman Troy Deeney – have not helped the cause. Although they have struggled to find the net, they have tightened things at the other end.

Quique Sanchez Flores’ return has seen four draws in six games. They suffered an 8-0 drubbing to Man City in this run of games but, in reality, City could do this to anyone in the league not named ‘Liverpool’.

With Watford looking much more solid and Chelsea scoring for fun this looks a tough betting proposition. However, we’ve found a couple of standout picks that we can combine through a Same Game Multi.

Tammy Abraham to score first – 16/5

Tammy Abraham has really impressed this year scoring eight in 10 Premier League games. His short run out in midweek marked his fourth appearance in all competitions without a goal, meaning he will be eager to get his scoring boots back on this weekend. I expect his quality to be telling here and like the look of him to nab the opener.

Jose Holebas To Be Booked – 15/8

Jose Holebas missed out last week against Bournemouth due to suspension. He’s racked up five yellows in just eight Premier League games this season and a whopping 17 in his last 36 league outings. I expect him to return here at left-wingback, where he will have to deal with the likes of Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic buzzing around him. He won’t be able to help himself!

Chelsea to win – 8/13

I expect the game to be surprisingly competitive for the most part and Watford could really give this young Chelsea side a tough exemption. However, with depleted frontline The Hornets possess I struggle to see them scoring more than once. Chelsea will have to work hard for this, but will have enough to win a fifth straight league game.
