This means Paddy Power are Macclesfield Town’s title sponsor for the 19/20 season, but our logo will not feature on the shirt.

The new kit will be worn for the first time in Macclesfield’s game against Hartlepool on Saturday 27th July.

Sol Campbell, manager of Macclesfield Town said: “We’re delighted to have Paddy Power saving our shirt.

“The club saw their campaign and were really keen to be a part of it. We wanted to return our kit back to our fans. We’re pleased to have Paddy Power un-sponsoring us, and we look forward to the season ahead.”

Asked about the announcement spokesman Paddy Power said: “Macclesfield saw the success of the Save Our Shirt campaign and felt they as club are a perfect fit for the initiative.

“We’re delighted to welcome Sol and The Silkmen on board for the season, and to give the shirt back to their fans.”
