If you missed the PFA Team of the Year announcement this morning, then you won’t know that the likes of Mohamed Salah and Eden Hazard have missed out on the illustrious XI.
Manchester United’s Paul Pogba did make the list however, and his selection has led to a lot of head scratching – not least from fans of his own club.

The French maestro certainly has a case, having netted 13 times in the Premier League and provided nine assists during the campaign so far. However, many feel that Pogba’s performances have been too inconsistent over the course of the season to justify him receiving the award.
Pogba is the only player outside of title rivals Manchester City and Liverpool to be named in the team and even Manchester United supporters had their doubts when the club announced the news on their Twitter account this morning.
Let’s just say, they haven’t been kind:
What for? For being inconsistent egoistoc and disrespectful to the fans and the club?

What an absolute joke, a player recognized for making an effort for 2 months.

@paulpogba is only interest in his next payday with is parasite agent. In no way does he deserve to be the team of the year because he doesn’t understand what a team or team player is. Fergie has been proven right about him that is would be bad for the club. #PL #PFAawards

It could have been worse though, they could have picked Jesse Lingard!
