Next Stoke manager: David Moyes now odds-on to replace Gary Rowett

Stoke City are on the lookout for a new gaffer after sacking Gary Rowett this morning and the betting says David Moyes is on the way…

David Moyes is now odds-on to be made next permanent Stoke City manager, following the news that Gary Rowett has been sacked after less than eight months in charge.

He is now 1/2 favourite to make a return to management, in from evens before the news was announced. His odds had been as large as 6/1 when the market opened.

Following Moyes in the betting is Slavisa Jokanovic (10/1), Sam Allardyce (10/1), Derek McInnes (11/1), Martin O’Neill (11/1), Carlos Carvalhal (14/1) and Alan Pardew (25/1).
