The Italian champions have already nicknamed the Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey ‘The Boxing Man’ (his birthday is Dec 26 apparently) as the want-away Welshman becomes the second piece of collateral damage since Mesut Ozil’s eye-popping £350k a week wages were revealed almost 12 months ago.
The first piece was that Ozul stayed at the club and continues to go missing.
Paddy Power also expect some other big names to leave the league with Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas odds-on to join AC Milan (4/6) and Manchester United’s Alexis Sanchez (remember him) linked with a move to the PSG bench.
With betting already suspended on Dominic Solanke leaving Liverpool for Crystal Palace, Victor Moses is also expected to arrive at Selhurst Park from Chelsea.
Spokesman Paddy Power said:
We’re expecting plenty of window shopping from Premier League clubs, and a few to actually follow through on deals, too.
“Already, barely a day into 2019, we have several deals rated as odds-on, and have suspended betting on Dominic Solanke’s Liverpool exit.”
