Crystal Palace to beat man City 3-2 – 100/1
Honestly, when we first saw this we were a little shocked that the price was as low as 100/1.
Firstly, there’s surely no way Palace are even going to manage a draw at the Etihad, never mind actually win the game. To add the correct score element just seems masochistic.
For a bit of perspective, Palace haven’t scored three in a single match in the Premier League all season. They’ve only got 14 in the league so far. But this London-based punter reckons the Eagles will take this one by the odd goal in five. Ok mate.
Man United to beat Cardiff by 4+ and 0-0 at half-time – 166/1
Ok, we’re really not sure what’s going on with this one.
Same Game Multi gives punters a huge degree of freedom to construct multiples from within the same event, but a consequence is that we’ve seen some truly bizarre combos over the past few months.
This, from a Dublin bettor, is right up there with the weirdest. Still, if United bang in four second half goals having failed to score in the first half and keep a clean sheet in 90 minutes, it’s a winner…
Olivier Giroud to be PL top scorer in 2018/19 – 150/1
Wow. Where did this even come from?
Currently, Olivier Giroud has scored one Premier League goal from 14 appearances this season. That puts him nine behind Mohamed Salah and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, the present top-scorers.
We’re struggling to work out what possessed this punter to select Giroud as potentially the man to overtake these two hot shots and run away with the Golden boot. But whatever it was, it can’t have been based on stats.
