Ever since Jamie Vardy posted the now infamous ‘Chat S**t Get Banged’ phrase on his Facebook account as a nobody footballer at Fleetwood Town back in 2011, it’s been a mantra that has followed him everywhere since.
When people said he couldn’t hack it as a Championship striker after his £1m-plus transfer to Leicester, they got ‘banged’ after he notched 16 times in his club’s promotion winning season.
Then the accusations became that he couldn’t bring that form into the Premier League, and those people got ‘banged’ too as the Sheffield-born striker scored 24 top tier goals to lead The Foxes to the most unlikely Premier League title of all time in the 2015-16 season.
Vardy has made a career out of proving those who’ve underestimated him wrong and such is the popularity of his favourite catchphrase, it seems he has decided to sport it on his shinguards.
All was revealed by Vardy’s wife Rebekah on Instagram on Saturday morning as she posted a picture of the forward’s new accessories, explaining that her husband had sent it to her.

They seemed to work their magic quickly for the former England man too, as he grabbed the opener in his club’s 2-0 success at home to Watford inside the opening 15 minutes of the first half from the penalty spot.
