Arsenal v Leicester: A 14/1 same-game multi to fire up the Gunners

Arsenal are chasing the tenth consecutive win and we've landed on a value bet to add a little spice to the clash on MNF ...

Arsenal head into Monday night’s game looking for a perfect 10, having won nine games in all competitions on the bounce since two opening defeats to Manchester City and Chelsea.

It’s a remarkable achievement by new boss Unai Emery, particularly when you consider that Mesut Ozil and Henrik Mikhitaryan have been on the pitch at the same time on occasions.

Leicester’s season to date has, literally, been either win or lose. Four wins, four losses, no draws.

Given Arsenal’s form and confidence, the Foxes could be about to slip into negative territory on the loss side of the ledger in MNF’s 8pm kick-off.

Handicap snip

Arsenal are unsurprisingly odds-on in the win-draw-win market at 8/15, the draw is 7/2, with Leicester at 5/1.

Emery’s side have won their last 11 fixtures v Leicester in the Premier League and although some were narrow victories, we’re backing the Londoners to win – and win well tonight.

A dabble in the handicap market at -1 eases us into odds against territory at 13-10 and can bring up the first leg of the same-game multi.

Anytime Pierre

Gabon international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang should return tonight despite missing an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier for his country.

Aubameyang has been on fire this season up top with Alexandre Lacazette, the pair bagging eight of Arsenal’s last 12 goals in the top tier.

The 28-year-old former Borussia Dortmund pro looks a play at 8/13 in the anytime goalscorer market.

Card sharp

Leicester have a poor disciplinary record this season, having already picked up three red cards.

The latest to get an early bath was captain Wes Morgan in the 1-2 defeat by Everton before the International break.

Morgan misses tonight’s game and that won’t make Harry Maguire’s job any easier.

Maguire is the most booked Foxes’ player this term, with three yellow cards of his own to deal with. With the form Lacazette and Aubameyang are in, the England international could be dizzy after 25 minutes, as Arsenal’s red shirts buzz around the box.

We can’t resist the 3/1 about him being carded and hopefully that gives us another leg of our 14/1 same-game multi in the process.
