That’s because one UK-based customer beat odds of 1,065/1 to land a huge acca, correctly predicting that both teams would score in 12 games across England’s top four tiers.
The punter from Norfolk started in the Premier League where Burnley v Huddersfield and Leicester v Everton saw goals from all involved.
Next on his hitlist was the Championship, where he correctly predicted the net bulging at both ends in Birmingham v Rotherham and QPR v Derby.
Amazingly, he actually had it all wrapped up in just 77 minutes as Rotherham’s consolation from Jon Taylor at St Andrews was the last goal he required to seal his £10,660 win.
Our Mystic Meg-like punter also correctly picked both teams scoring in four League 1 and another four League 2 matches, on what must have been a superb day for him.
It wasn’t just Conor McGregor getting spanked on Saturday it seems – our bean counters took a hell of a beating too.
