Over 3.5 goals – 7/4
The Reds have rampaged through the opening weeks of the season and look primed for a pop at Pep’s posse in the league, though Jurgen Klopp could do with shaking the trophy monkey from his back with any piece of silverware.
What better way to do that than a run to Wembley for the earliest title available – Jose will tell you the Community Shield counts too but we all know what he’s like.
Chelsea’s new gaffer Maurizio Sarri has earned praise for the way his teams attack, and given both managers are likely to switch around their teams with a view to their Stamford Bridge meeting on Saturday evening, we think there’s scope for comedy defending and strike-for-strike action here.
Over 3.5 does not look a big ask.
Anytime Goal Scorer: Daniel Sturridge – 10/11
The England striker looks to a have turned a corner round Stanley Park way after a few seasons of sterile output and sticky injuries.
Getting him fully fit and firing is almost like a new signing for the Scousers – not that they need more strike power with their terrifying trio.
Depth comes in very hand in the league cup though, so we’d expect the former Chelsea man to get the start against his old team, and he’ll have every reason to want to add to his goal against PSG here.
Correct Score: 3-2 – 18/1
If you’d prefer a pricier punt, the likely goalfest could pay a pretty penny if you land the correct score, and 3-2 to the home team appeals to us.
Liverpool have rifled home three or more goals in three of their first four games at Anfield this campaign.
Chelsea drew 0-0 with West Ham at the weekend, but that was the first time they’ve been shut out on their travels this season, and the likely turnover in starting line-ups ought to help the cause here too.
If you want a big price, 18/1 on this result is worth a taste.
