Following reports on the delay of the opening of Tottenham’s new stadium, we have slashed the odds of no matches to be played there this year from 7/1 to 9/4.
At least two Premier League games, as well as an NFL fixture, have both been moved to Wembley due to issues with ‘critical safety systems’.
Meanwhile, with the new ground said to be nowhere near completion, it is EVENS that Spurs are forced to play ALL of their home Champions League group games at the national stadium.
And, with 15,000 seats yet to be installed in the ground at the new White Hart Lane, it’s 25/1 that Tottenham do not play there for the remainder of the 18/19 season.
Our own Paddy Power said: “With no summer signings, and a stadium which is taking longer to build than the Sagrada Familia, it’s a frustrating time to be a Tottenham fan.
“With Liverpool, Cardiff and an NFL fixture all delayed at the new ground, we’ve had to cut the odds of no games to be played there this year.”
