Watch: Norwich snatch draw in East Anglian derby with five seconds left

Thankfully there’s no roof on Carrow Road, because it would have come off after this late strike…

With both Ipswich and Norwick eight points off the Championship’s Play-Off spots at the start of play, today’s East Anglian derby took on a little extra significance for both sides.

After all, a win (whoever it was for) could have brought either outfit back into contention for a shot at promotion as the season enters its final stages.

The first half wasn’t much to write home about, as they went in level at the break scoreless. However, all the drama was to take place in the final moments of the game.

Firstly, Ipswich Luke Chambers looked to have stolen a first derby win since 2009 for The Tractor Boys when he nodded in from a corner giving his side the lead with only a minute left on the watch, sending manager Mick McCarthy wild in the process.

However, there was a sting in the tail yet to come and The Canaries never gave up as the match headed into its final moments. Timm Klose provided the moment of magic for the home side as he popped up with an equalising header with just five seconds to go and you can watch it for yourself thanks to Sky Sports football below:
