We have cut the odds on Jamie Vardy completing a shock move to Manchester United this month, as Jose Mourinho steps up his search for attacking reinforcements.

Asked about Vardy’s future spokesman Paddy Power said: “I’m not sure signing Vardy will be enough to placate United fans, as they watch their city rivals sweep all before them – but at least they won’t be reliant on a 36-year-old with one leg.
