Ahead of the November international break – aka the unofficial transfer window for managers – bettors have been backing David Moyes to replace Slaven Bilić at West Ham.
Bilić has been walking a tight rope at the London Stadium this season and the pressure has come on his job as the Hammers are sitting just a point above the relegation zone ahead of today’s late tie at home to Liverpool.
With rumours constantly surrounding the Croatian position, punters have been lumping on the Scot to be next West Ham boss.
That’s prompted us to cut the odds of it happening dramatically from 16/1 to 7/2 – making him favourite for Irons job. Having managed Man United, Everton and Sunderland in the Premier League – could London be the next port of call for Moyesy?
Asked about the possible appointment spokesman Paddy Power said: “David Moyes has attracted a lot of attention recently, and I don’t just mean the social media mocking – our punters have lumped on.
“A bit like he’ll probably have his team lumping it up to Andy Carroll.”
7/2 David Moyes
11/2 Brendan Rodgers
7/1 Roberto Mancini
10/1 Slavisa Jokanovic
12/1 Manuel Pellegrini
16/1 Rafa Benitez
