Champions League: Ride England’s European raiders to land this 19/2 treble

Backing British could have you toppling Paddy tonight…

Man City to beat Napoli – 7/5

If you’ve ever struggled to crack a walnut, then you’ll understand how Manchester City fans have felt about their club’s efforts in the Champions League since the money started pouring in.

In general, the group stages have given the City faithful more headaches than Nicolás Otamendi’s attempts at defending, however Pep Guardiola seems to have finally busted that nut this season and the Citizens have started with a trio victories from three European outings.

They may have got a scare in their 2-1 home victory over Napoli, in what was a crazy game at the Etihad two weeks ago. But this City juggernaut is showing no signs of stopping and head into tonight’s contest on the back of 13-match winning run (if you include a victory on penalties over Wolves in the Carabao Cup).

Napoli – who sit top of Serie A – will be no pushovers, yet we expect Pep’s men to seal their passage to the knockout phase with a win at 7/5.

Tottenham to score a win over Real Madrid – 21/10

Who would have thought after drawing at the Bernabéu and whacking Liverpool at Wembley, that we’d be speaking about a Spurs side heading into tonight’s return match with Real Madrid on the back of two straight defeats.

So, tonight’s tie at against the defending champions should be a forgone conclusion, right? Wrong!

Real Madrid have been woefully off form themselves since the start of the season, already dropping an astounding ten points in La Liga, and the Spanish aristocrats also painfully lost to Girona in Catalonia on Sunday in a politically charged affair.

With Harry Kane apparently fit to take his place on the park tonight, we reckon Wembley could witness a wonder show from Tottenham and we’re going with a home upset at 11/5.

Liverpool (-2.0) against Maribor – 4/9

If there ever seemed a safe bet for your money, then a 4/9 punt on Liverpool (-2.0) against Maribor might just be it.

The Slovenian champions are led by Darko Milanič, who was sacked six games into his Leeds career for failing to win a game in any of them. That’s quick even by Massimo Cellino’s standards!

Liverpool ran riot in the last meeting between the two, winning 7-0 away against their hapless opponents – even Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain managed to score!

With The Reds needing the points in Group E, we’re expecting the goals to flow as freely at Anfield as water-based lubricant at a Hugh Hefner pool party – Liverpool have even covered this handicap in two of their three outings.
