David Moyes odds dramatically cut to be the next Everton manager

With Koeman on the brink, could an old boy be returning to Goodison Park?

It’s uncertain times for Everton and their fans at the moment as Ronald Koeman’s position as manager is under massive scrutiny because of string of poor results.

The Dutchman has been heavily criticised after a horrific start to the season that has seen The Toffees take just eight points from eight league games and utterly flounder in the Europa League.

A depressing 5-2 defeat at home to Arsenal today could spell the end of his reign and our traders have slashed the price on a return for one of Everton’s favourite sons to the managerial post.

With rumours abound that David Moyes is set for a suprising comeback to the hotseat at Goodison Park, our traders have hacked his price from 20/1 to just 4/1 to be the next Everton boss after Koeman.

Moyes – who led The Toffees from 2002 to 2-13 before leaving for the Man United post – is now second favourite for the role behind David Unsworth who is a 5/2.

He is joined on the 4/1 mark by the man that succeeded him at Old Trafford Louis van Gaal, while current Burnley boss Sean Dyche is next in the betting at 7/1.

Could Moyesy be the man to bring The Toffees out of their sticky patch?
