Brighton humiliation sees Slaven Bilic slashed to favourite in Premier League sack race

The storm clouds are gathering at the London Stadium…

Times have been tough if you’re a West Ham United supporter and things went from bad to worse last night as they were spanked 3-0 at home by newly promoted Brighton.

That defeat left the Hammers just two points above the relegation zone ahead of today’s 3pm kick-offs and there’s now a major question mark over the future of the manger Slaven Bilic.

Before last night’s game the Croatian was as far out as 11/2 to be the next Premier League manager to leave his job, but the nature of the loss to Chris Hughton’s men has seen a flood of cash come in for him to face the exit door.

Bilic is now odds on at 4/9 to be the next boss sacked in England’s top tier, followed by Everton manager who is the 13/8 second favourite.

Life hasn’t been easy for the Hammers since they moved to the London Stadium and the money suggests the end of the Bilic era could be right on the horizon.
